Young Musicians' Portraits
I come from a family of classical musicians, so when the opportunity came to photograph students at a summer strings camp this month I jumped at it. I also had fun capturing rehearsals happening around the camp that morning. Adhering to Covid-19 safety precautions, the students and their teachers and mentors rehearsed indoors as well as outside in a courtyard amphitheater. The local bakery, Arizmendi, donated breakfast goodies, and the students munched while a quintet of their teachers played "The Cappuccino Blues" to warm up and inspire everybody.
