Kathy has a warm heart, sharp lens, and keen eye. She brought a playful spirit to my son’s “Senior Portrait” photo shoot. He quickly warmed to the process and the next thing we knew he was acting goofy, hamming it up, and having fun. My daughter even got in on the action, acting as an impromptu stylist, tidying his hair, adjusting his shoulders. As a mom, I’m grateful for the beautiful photos, but also for the afternoon we spent together, my kids and I, goofing off with a camera going. Now I have the pictures and the wonderful memories of the day we made them.

I recently worked with Katherine for a photo shoot for my upcoming book launch.  As someone who is readily camera shy, Katherine put my worries to rest from the beginning!  Willing to meet me in the city, she came in ahead of time to scout locations, study the light, and picked spots for our shoot which were absolutely perfect.  Her turnaround time from photographing to producing final edits was quick and efficient, making the entire process, beginning to end a delight. Katherine is very hard working and a fantastic photographer. She was patient with our 3 year old and 8 month old during our family photos. She requested that we bring a couple of different wardrobe options for the children and had creative ideas for poses. We now have many framed family photos for our home. I will be reaching out to Katherine for future holiday cards, life events and special moments. She was more than willing to meet with us not only around our work schedules but also around the crazy sleep schedules of our two young children. Katherine Briccetti is a great photographer, and the experience of working with her is seamless. She's relaxed and professional, putting her clients at ease. She knows adbout lighting and composition and tells you the most flattering way to position your head. She did my author head shots, but I wish I had known her when my kids were young. If that were the case, I'd have a whole wall of wonderful family photos instead of a bunch of snapshots on the fridge!
